We discuss this and also if it is indeed possible to automate an architect's role in the design process along with the various advancements in Artificial Intelligence including an AI that learns to play Mario games.

Joe has a bone to pick in this episode of The Architech Show. Who decides whether an older building is worth preserving even though it has outlived its purpose? Sometimes the effort of maintaining and preserving the older building costs more than the cost of replacing the building. Can a building be reconfigured in order to preserve its heritage yet be repurposed to suit modern times? We don't have the answers but it makes an interesting discussion!
